Most of the ESB figures were available on cards with German back side for the German market. These were manufactures in the Palitoy factory in UK. But not only these figures were sold in Germany, also Palitoy and Kenner figures. From the loose cardbacks I got from different sources in Germany I can see that actually there were more Palitoy and Kenner figures in the stores than German General Mills figures. A few figures had a sticker indicating the German distributor as shown here for a Bespin Security Guard.
